HW4 can run full FSD v14.3 (Supervised). HW3 runs FSD v14 Lite. HW3 cannot do Unsupervised.
Does this used Tesla actually have FSD?
HW Check tells you which computer is in the car. FSD Check tells you what that computer can run — and reminds you that a VIN is not a software receipt. Sit in the car. Open Controls → Software.
This is not Tesla’s new-car FSD transfer program. That program ended March 31, 2026. Used inventory is whatever is already on this VIN.

Package second
Look for “Full Self-Driving Capability — Included Package.” “Full Self-Driving Computer” is only the board.

VIN last, and barely
Optional VIN is a year estimate. It never proves FSD was purchased. Recall lookup is out of scope.
